AFC Walker breaks Modra's Club Goal Record Cartoon

Early in 2020, the AFC and I dreamt up this concept to celebrate Taylor Walker potentially breaking Tony Modra's 20+ year goal scoring club record. The only thing was, Tex had to break the record!

Surely enough, in the final round of the home and away season, Walker kicked his 441st goal and the Adelaide Football Club celebrated his feat by releasing this cartoon across social.

Considering the AFC had gone through a highly criticised rebuild, and that 2020 has been a challenging year across the sport and entertainment industries, there are still opportunities to create fun, high concept work that cuts through and, most of all, entertains.
